Then the Astro Base was powered by the PS4 USB and the A50 mic was used for chat on the console, and optical cane from my TV to the Astro Base.

I had the mic plugged in usb on PC and used that as my input for chat, but with these mics they also have a decent sound output themselves, and you can take a 3.5mm jack from the mic to the Astro Base station, which game me PC system audio, but also full mic monitoring too. Ok so I had a usb mic on my PC, an ADX firecast from curry’s, but something like a Yeti would work as well.
